WILLOW 2024 - 2025

Hello and welcome Willow class

Jonny is the Class Teacher in Willow, along with Oliver and Mel, who are the Teaching Assistants.

Special Breakfast happens each Friday where we have lots of tasty food, such as, pancakes, scrambled eggs, toast, beans and lots of fresh fruit. We give our certificates to our Rights Respecting Superstars and find out which Duty Bearers have earned an extra special mention too. 

Our Learning, Spring 2 2025

ENGLISH 

This term we will be focussing on 'Darwen's Dragon' by Lindsay Galvin.

MATHS

We will be studying division, fractions, time and then finishing the term on some geometry, shape and measure.

Make sure you go on TT Rockstars and My Maths at home to do extra practice to help you. (see links at the bottom of the page).

SCIENCE

As scientists, our topic is Darwen, will be looking at evolution, fossils, inheritance and all the things linked to Darwesn work.

Geography

As geographers, our question is ‘Why are oceans important?’.

ART

As artists, we will be focussing on printing.

D&T

As designers, we will be looking at the Digital World. In this unit, we will be looking at monitoring devices.

COMPUTING

As technology users, we will be looking at coding.

PSHE

As global citizens, the theme for this term is Healthy mind.

RE

As global citizens, we will continue this half term with our key question: What do religions say to us when life gets hard? 

PE

This half term we will be taking part in swimming. Please bring in your swimming kits every Wednesday.
